Ebook (ePub format): “Bahá’í Sacred Writings”

Download link: Bahá’í Sacred Writings as ePub (a personal project, not an official publication).

Earlier this year, we received a new book from the Bahá’í World Centre, “A comprehensive collection of selections from the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh and the Writings and utterances of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, representing the range of the Bahá’í teachings.” From the preface:

Within these pages, readers will find many of the passages with which they are already familiar from institute courses, often set within the context of the books and Tablets from which they are taken. Included as well are a number of newly translated excerpts published for the first time in this volume.

It’s available from the Bahá’í Reference Library as PDF, DOCX, and HTML, and I find that the ePub format works well with readers like Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play Books, so I did a quick conversion, with an AI agent’s help. Here’s the source code for the conversion from XHTML to ePub.
